1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ManuMate ("we", "us") handles information in the ManuMate mobile application and web platform (together, "the App"). ManuMate is a tool for managing factory and field work — tickets, reports, forms, scheduling, and related records.
2. Information We Collect
a. Account & work data
When you sign in and use ManuMate, we process the data you and your organization enter — tickets, reports, form responses, schedules, and related records — to provide the service.
b. Photos & media
With your permission, the App accesses your camera and photo library so you can attach images to tickets, reports, and forms, and can save images back to your library. Photos are used only for the content you attach.
c. Microphone / voice
With your permission, the App uses the microphone to record voice input within forms and reports.
d. Push notification identifiers
To deliver notifications, we register a device push token via Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). This token identifies your device installation so we can send you relevant alerts.
e. Technical & diagnostic data
The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites. Firebase is used solely for push notification delivery. We may process limited technical data (such as log and error information) to operate and secure the service.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App (tickets, reports, forms, scheduling).
- To send push notifications you or your organization have enabled.
- To support, secure, and improve the service.
4. Your Organization
ManuMate is typically provided to you through your employer or organization, which controls your account and the work data. In most cases your organization is the data controller and we act as a processor on its behalf.
5. Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App:
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) — push notification delivery. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Our cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, used to run the service.
6. Data Retention
We retain work data for as long as your organization's account is active or as needed to provide the service, and thereafter delete or anonymize it in line with our agreements with your organization and applicable law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted transport over HTTPS/TLS — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location (for example, under the GDPR in the EU), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to processing. To exercise these, contact info@manumate.com. Because your organization often controls your data, we may direct such requests to them.
9. Children
ManuMate is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
